Bachelor party KTV in Singapore — rooms, minimums and late hours

Updated

A bachelor party of 6–12 fits a KTV VIP room, and split across the group the room minimum works out to roughly $75–200 a head at the venues we track. Book the room ahead for a Friday or Saturday, start at a no-minimum pub nearby, and pick a venue with a morning session if the night is going past 3am. All figures below are reference numbers from our venue records — confirm them when you book.

Rooms that fit a stag group

Venue Room Fits Minimum District
B12 Delux KTV VIP 8–10 7 towers + 3 bottles Clarke Quay
Ume KTV VVIP 999 10–15 10 towers + 4 bottles Novena
Club MG KTV Large 7–10 3 towers + 2 bottles Jalan Besar
New Lisbo KTV VVIP 7–14 6 towers + 3 bottles Jalan Besar
Gala KTV VIP 6–9 5 towers + 3 bottles Jalan Besar
Iconic KTV VIP 6–12 6–8 towers + 3 bottles Bugis
Supreme KTV VIP 6–12 8 towers + 3 bottles Orchard
Wave Party K Party room 8–15 $1,988 wkday / $2,388 wkend Bugis
Emerald Club KTV VIP 9–20 10 towers + 6 bottles Geylang

The minimum is a drink commitment for the whole session, not room rent. Match it to your confirmed headcount: a room that reads heavy for six people is easy arithmetic for twelve.

The per-head maths, worked

Three examples where we have both the minimum and the drink prices on record (all unverified reference figures):

  • B12 Delux KTV VIP (8–10 pax): 7 towers at $40–50 plus 3 Martell VSOP at $200 comes to about $880–950. Ten ways, that’s roughly $88–95 each.
  • Ume KTV VVIP 999 (10–15 pax): 10 towers at $40 plus 4 bottles at $180 is $1,120. Twelve ways, about $93 each; fifteen ways, about $75.
  • Wave Party K party room (8–15 pax): priced per session, so the budget is fixed before you walk in — $1,988 on a weekday or $2,388 on a weekend is $166 or $199 each split twelve ways.

Watch the room-tier boundaries. Empire KTV’s VIP minimum is 12 towers and 4 bottles — workable for a full house of 10–12, punishing if two people drop out. If your headcount is shaky, a per-session room like Wave Party K, or Club MG’s unusually gentle 3-tower large room, carries less risk.

Who stays open latest

Most nightlife KTVs close at 3am. Three rooms in our records run to 6am: Supreme KTV and Empire KTV on Orchard Road both run a 2am–6am morning session, and VIP Japanese Karaoke in Cuppage Plaza opens 8pm–6am, where every room — including the thirteen-seater — carries the same one-tower-and-a-bottle minimum. If the groom’s night has a late final act, it ends in Orchard.

Building the multi-stop night

Keep the stops walkable and put the no-minimum venue first.

  • Bugis: start on Prinsep Street — LOL has towers from $38 with pool and darts, Club FML runs beer pong tables with no minimum — then walk to Wave Party K at GR.iD or the Parklane KTV stack on Selegie. More options at /ktv/bugis/.
  • Boat Quay → Clarke Quay: BQ Bar (no minimum, river tables, happy hour to 8pm) or Proost (Thai beer buckets from $35, closes midnight) before the room at B12 Delux KTV.
  • Orchard: Cable Car on Cuppage Road has no minimum and a $10 beer jug promo; Supreme KTV’s morning session takes over when the group outlasts everything else.

Book it like you mean it

Friday and Saturday rooms sell out, and some venues price the difference — Wave Party K’s weekend minimums run up to $2,000 above weekday rates depending on the room. Iconic KTV’s two specialist VIP rooms (100-inch screen, pool table) book out on weekends. Reserve with your date and headcount, and confirm the minimum for your group size when you book, not when the bill arrives. Session-priced venues like Bella Bello quote ++, so add service charge and GST to the sticker.

Splitting the bill without drama

Collect a fixed amount per head before the night, sized to the minimum plus a margin, and have one person settle. Order against the minimum as the session goes rather than front-loading the table — the commitment is a spend floor for the whole night, not a target to race. If the group is deciding between two room tiers, take the smaller one and add drinks if needed; you can always order up, but you can’t order down.
