It’s the one address where you can room-hop without leaving the mall: start in one, move up a floor, and finish with late-night mala downstairs. Nearest MRT is Rochor (Downtown Line), a few minutes’ walk; from the city centre it’s a short taxi or Grab. The whole night in one block — and a bed at the end of it

Here’s why Parklane beats the Marina Bay crowd for a night out: it all happens in one walkable block, and you can stay right in it. Sing in a private KTV, drop down for mala supper in the same mall, and walk back to your hotel — no 3am taxi surge, no fighting the Marina Bay throng. Several hotels sit within a few minutes’ stroll of the mall — Rendezvous Hotel, Hotel Mi Rochor, Ibis Budget Singapore Selegie, Village Hotel Albert Court and The Varel Collection among them — so the whole evening, from the first beer tower to the last skewer to your pillow, happens on foot. It’s the easy, self-contained version of a Singapore night: livelier and less polished than the Marina Bay strip, easier on the wallet, and you’re never more than a short walk from bed. For a race weekend especially, basing yourself here — instead of the packed, surge-priced Marina Bay hotels — is the quiet-genius move.

Which one to book

Iconic KTV on the third floor is the one to reserve first — the busiest room in the building right now (you may see it under its former names, K2 or Illumi), Verified, with a low one-tower entry and a happy-hour minimum of $88 against $138 at night. It fills on weekends, so book ahead.

One floor up, Egos runs $88 beer towers; Avatar on the fifth is the other Verified room here, with $78 towers and a $128 room minimum. In the basement, Club Chanel and Club Axis round out the stack — prices there aren’t venue-confirmed yet, so ask before you sit down.

A warm-up beer, and supper after

If you want a cheap beer before the rooms, the pub cluster on Prinsep Street (a two-minute walk) runs the lowest towers in the city — LOL — Life of Liquor at $38 a tower is the cheapest we track, with LIVE Zone at $48 and the two floors of Club FML at $70.

And when the last tower’s done, supper is inside Parklane itself: LaJiangShan Hotpot for a shared simmering pot, or TANG² Malatang (趟烫麻辣烫), where you fill a basket from a counter of skewers and greens and they cook it in numbing-spicy Sichuan broth — both open late, right below the rooms. A full night — sing, drink, supper — without stepping outside.
